    mp 6055 fuser issue

    greetings for everyone,

    it sounds like sleeve problem,the printed paper repeat itself on same paper or the next one,i have changed the sleeve but no result,

    should i raise the tem of fuser (can i get the SP mode please) or should i change the pressure roller?

    any suggestions?

      Are you running genuine toner & was the sleeve a new genuine Canon fixing film ass'y ?

          yes,all is original,the printer is ricoh

              So it is. Canon also do a 6055 model. Hard to keep up with them all!

                  Check for unsuitable paper, make sure the weights are set correctly, and the paper is not for a Inkjet type machine.

                  Check the thermostats (AW110101 x2) and lamps, make sure they have continuity.

                  If still not working, check the pressure arms and springs. If you manually engage them, you should be able to feel the tension, close and re-open the door to check if they are being engaged by the right hand door.

                      Did you fit sleeve or sleeve assy best to fit pressure roller at the same time

                          I never understood why some techs only change the sleeve it's a set and you have it all apart why not spend the extra 2 minutes.......
