[Misc] Ricoh MPc 3003

Hi i have the following problems with an mpc 3003. first its takes to long to open, stays at "please wait" when i first open it it had java and some other software.
I managed to remove everything. Also the home button doesnt return to home screen. it just do 2 beeps. i search everything google, manual but no luck. any ideas..?

Go into SP modes, set SP5730 and 5113-002 to 0. In user tools / system settings / general features set function priority to home.That should sort it. Prior warning, the 3003 aren't fast machines anyway, MPC2500's/2550's have faster processors.

Hi thanks for your time. I have already done all of them..! i have another 3003 right here that open at half time. any other ideas..?

None of the functions Keys was working so i programmed them from the web interface. but i cant find a way to program the Home key.

Update the firmware.

Try formatting the HDD. This should remove any 3rd party software previously installed.

Failing that look at replacing HDD and/of Controller PCB.

already done it. nothing changed. when pressing home button just 2 beeps and no home screen

hi, i already format the hDD to delete the extra software. but to change the controller just because the home button doesn't work correctly.?

done what tonermunken says, replace the hdd, with a new one, I happened to "slow down"
