    Latest version of Parts Finder

Does anyone know how to find this on Octopus?

It's rare that we have to resort to using this, but on the odd occasion it's handy. However recently the files downloaded for each model don't seem to open. I can choose which area to look at, for example laser unit/pcdu, but upon opening them it's just blank.

Is it a version issue perhaps? Latest I have is 2.3.1

    Cheers

    Hi

Interesting thing is, I just checked Ricoh Octopus and the latest version is 1.8.2 dated Feb 2021.

If you do a search from the main search bar using CATALOG EXPLORER as the criteria, that comes up.

Installed it, and then it complained about an expired license. There was a file called Regene which is a batch file one has to run to fix this.

After I downloaded a 3d parts catalog for the SP220SNw as a test and it works. What is a pain though is that you have to select a section and can only view that section. If you wish to view another section, you need to click the house icon and select the new section from the list.

    Otherwise is seems to work.
    Press the GREEN button!!

hi, I use it quite often, some partlists, work with the old catalog explorer, others, with partfinder, the files, are not compatible with each other, so you must have them both if you use this kind of approach to 3d part catalogs ... me I downloaded it from the ricoh portal

I've used that program in the past, so thought I'd give it a shot again on this fresh PC. I also had the license error but the update on the same page sorted that.

I'll give it a shot shortly pal, once I find something it will open

          Good morning everyone,
I have a question. Is the Parts Finder app available for MACos?

once you download the parts finder. make sure to unzip all files to the same folder. then open the parts finder by navigating to that folder. i just name the folder whatever model it is.
