MPC2003 white image repeat

Hi,

Customer with an MPC2003 called, complains that on his prints there's a white repeating image on it.
See pictures.
Just a month ago a new PCDU K installed.

Rarely seen this, something with the charge?

could be a couple of things. Fuser /image transfer assy / i start with printing counter report or smc print out to see it if has same problem those are internal print generated and go from there.

Was it a new complete pcdu ie pcu and dev assembly. Or was it taken out of another machine

This and also full beam and/or checkered test pattern on full colour followed by a blank test pattern to try narrow it down to specific colour or fusing

maybe the end cap was left off the new pcu

Looks like fuser unit problem. How many copies has the unit made?

Try a bk imaging unit and make sure the back plate is installed. Seems to repeat the error with a diameter similar to the drum.

changed the fuser, no result

Faulty erase lamp? Speaking from experience with a similar issue on a different brand cause by bad erase lamp/LED

the name of this is negative backgraund, the problem is in most causes erese lamp/PCR or DEV unit. DEV is new? Then try to play with OPC.
Someone also say that issue can be printer driver.. I dont belive that this is your cause as backgraund is not so visibile.

MP C2003 does not have any type of erase lamp.

how is it not there? there is one in each slot of the pcdu, at the bottom right ... but in any case, maybe that is not the problem
