I'm not a Ricoh tech, but have been tasked to find out how to, in service mode or admin mode, shut down the fax. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You should be able to physically remove the fax option board. -

You can make quick remove It, moreover, it is well known that the fax card often creates strange problems, and its firmware is continuously corrected version after version, in rental machines, if it is not expressly requested by the customer, we remove them....

On some models, I just disconnect the fax board but leave it in the machine, in case they ever want to use it in the future.Comment

For whatever reason this is for......I'm assuming there's no fax line near the machine and some people are trying to use it to send faxes???
Why not just remove any / all fax icons from the home screen(s)?Comment
