no it was another problem. what is the code to activate black reading?

I gave them to you yesterday but here they are again.

Might be a couple of things:

1. Bad RFID chip on the K cartridge
2. Bad RFID board
3. RFID ON/OFF:K SP 5804 192 not set correctly
4. RFID Communication ON - K SP 5804 196 is OFF
5. Memory for the K cartridge is corrupted

Check the K SP settings against the other 3 colors. They all should be the same. If not, you probably have corrupted memory. That is usually the result of a corrupted chip or an After Market cartridge. Try the following:

1. Turn SP 5804-192 OFF
2. Cycle power
3. Install a new Genuine Ricoh cartridge
4. Cycle power
5. Turn SP 5804-192 ON
6. Cycle power

If that does not correct the problem, I hope you have the Birth Certificate for that machine, because you are going to have to Clear Engine Memory. If you do not have the Birth Certificate, print the Non-Default page SP 5990-006 before clearing memory and use it. SP 2101 values will need to be entered and then run forced line position.

I think so too, but!... sometimes in this crazy world of photocopiers, can happen all, in the company we use an mpc6003, and after having messed up a bit with the sp, during a personal experiment to try to set the level to the maximum, it no longer detects the black level... tomorrow I'll try to see what happens, it's free anyway... lol
