On the 1035 that normally refers to a jam at either the registration sensor or fuser/duplex sensor.
Change those 3 sensors
But before you do that please do a full major service. Also please check if your transfer belt unit is turning properly. That transfer belt unit should be stripped cleaned and serviced and transfer belt and blade should be changed.

Over and above what has already been suggested I think being as old as a 1035 is there's a chance your registration bushes broke so would check them out too if I was scratching around there

I am seeing a lot of waste toner on the ends of the drum to include latent image of the previous page copied. I am also seeing toner that has dropped down onto the registration roller and other areas below the drum. Given that J013 is a late registration sensor jam, i.e. the lead edge is either late or not detected at all, I would say that the registration sensor is also coated with toner. Cleaning the sensor with a soft lint free cotton clothe moistened with water only should take care of the problem for a while but until you correct whatever is causing the toner dropping, it will be back.crab leg buffet wilmington nc

Registration sensor is directly below the registration rollers which is the rubber roller and silver roller where the paper is stopping and not going through.
My friend this is printer and copier repair basics , if you don't know this it makes me wonder if you know printer repairs. Please friend be careful. If you don't know what you doing you can end up causing more damage.
Also , what Slimslob said is absolutely right, which is why I said that the machine needs a major service

my first step for paper jams is to always start from the starting point of the paper, check the rubber rollers of the drawer if smooth or old, you could try another paper drawer, then on these old models the paper size indicated in the green wheel placed at the bottom of the drawer must match the orientation of the sheet.Last edited by GIUBOSS; 11-14-2021, 05:29 PM.Comment
