Loading Toner RICOH MP C305 !!!

a RICOH MP C305 giving loading toner msg and there is no magenta color on printed paper

well at first i supposed it's an easy task
here what i did
i checked the M toner cartridge and it's fine
PCU is ok as well
i thought it must be toner supply spiral in the hopper
but after i reached it after some efforts i found it's not supplying toner for some reasons
i cleaned it well and gave it a try but the problem is the same
so i replaced the M hopper to just to be sure but the same problem is present
finally i replaced the PCU ( and i'm sure it's fine ) but the same problem
i suspect the Toner supplying motor of M but the toner bottle is rotating like normal

any idea what might the problem be ?

After you replaced the magenta PCDU did the machine initially work ok?

What firmware version is the machine on?

after replacing PCDU it worked fine as the new unit had sufficient toner
but still no toner is supplied in the unit

Sounds like the magenta development unit is not rotating. All three color development units are driven by the same motor and clutch. That leaves the gear train for the magenta development unit. Have fun.

Sounds like the magenta development unit is not rotating. All three color development units are driven by the same motor and clutch. That leaves the gear train for the magenta development unit. Have fun.

i've tried new unit and it didn't solve the problem

i didn't try new one but i checked the bottle and i'm 100% sure it's working fine
even i've tried supplying toner manually

my question is , if the motor rotating the bottle gives movement to the the hopper gear and spiral
and the bottle is rotating as normal
so why not the stupid spiral do it's function and supply toner !

If the shutter in the toner bottle is clogged or otherwise not working properly then toner will not be able to get out of the bottle. Ergo anothertech's question as to if you have changed the bottle.

This bulletin is old but maybe the cause of your issue.

i checked it and it's not clogged and working fine
the tricky thing is the bottle supplying toner to the hopper but the spiral is not supplying to the PCDU
so i replaced the hopper with 100% functioning spiral but still the same problem

If you did not replace the drive unit and the problem is a broken gear in that drive unit, the developer coils in the PCDU will not be turning. If they are not turning, the toner cannot get out of the hopper coil assembly.

how to test it ? and i want buy the PCDU, where sale it please
