Do i need a Postscript for IM 9000 to print from IMac??

ricoh provide Macintosh OS X v10.12 or later for IM 9000 also provide Postscript optional
do i need to buy postscript for printing from IMac ?also what is reason for it??

according to the features, it should have at least the default emulation.
usually if there is no postscript no printing from mac

its a print driver. install it, if it doesnt work then you need the PS???

It should come PDF direct which includes an unlicensed post script emulator that supports most but not all PS3 features. The PS3 option SD Card merely provides license. If the customer is doing desktop publishing, especially with any Adobe Publishing software then the option is needed. If they are doing mostly basic business software, NO.

It is recomended.
Since,PS3 Emulation can only help you with some basic word/spreadsheet prinitng and other general print software as pdf.
If you require to print the files directly from web,images and other creative softwares emulation may either miss images and device may reset the job files all together.
You should connect with your user and get to know its requirement before you provide them with the general pcl/ps driver.
