    SOP compatibility between models?

Tried swapping an SOP from an MPC2004 to an MP2555, physically looked identical.
Display mostly worked but was kind of jumpy and unstable at times.
Does anyone know if these are the same of if there are internal differences making them not compatible?

With one being B/W and the other being Color, definitely different firmware. Have you tried over writing with the 2555 display firmware?

Thanks, that might be just what is needed.
I did the initialize screen features in screen device settings and that’s how I got it to work as well as it did. I Tried to run the firmware update in service mode, but it came up with an E 72.

Check the part numbers is the safest way to know if they are compatible.

there is no compatibility table, some are the same, others have a different USB bus connector, and other older ones have a long cable with the connector, however in the past I put on a 2004, that of another different model, I don't remember which one, stuff from a year ago (I only had that available) and it worked very well, if you look, often the panel firmware is often the same file for several models, even different from each other
