According to Precision Roller, the Ricoh MP C2503 Fixing Film Sleeve only can be used with the C2503 and C2003. Their Ricoh MP C4503 Fixing Film Sleeve can be used in all the 03s and the C4505. I believe the lamps in the C2503 are lower wattage and will allow the fusing unit temperature to fade faster than the lamps can compensate for.
Part numbers shown in the following are for 120 volt machines in the USA.
What you can do, is take the new sleeve(the film itself) off of the new sleeve unit and put it on the old sleeve unit. This works good if it's just a worn sleeve film.

Yes, I showed up at the machine to rebuild the fuser one time, and I had the wrong sleeve. So I did the swap. I've heard the MP C4503 sleeves are no longer available.

I had a customer an hour + drive away that a junior tech had ordered the EU sleeve for instead of the NA one. When it came in the boss sent me to replace it. 220 volt lamps don't heat up enough at 120 volt.

I had the exact same issue but in reverse us being based in The UK.
Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!

We had ordered 2 sleeves and heard back from Ricoh that they were no longer available.
Do a Google or a Yahoo search. You will most likely find aan alternate source in your part of the world. If you are in North America try Precision Roller.
What we do here is the following:
The generic covers are sold alone, without bulbs, and they work for 3003, 4503, 5503, etc. I don't know if it works for 2503, but I think it does.
If you have it on another model, you just need to change the cover and the oiling film and put it on the bulbs of the equipment in question.
I don't know if it's allowed to post a video link of how to do it.
If it isn't allowed, I apologize.
