    RICOH Aficio MP C2050

    Hello,
I have this type of mark on a RICOH Aficio MP C2050.

Which component or part should I clean to resolve this problem?
    Thank you.

    Bonjour,
    Merci.

      Thanks.
I cleaned the ITB CLEANING UNIT.
It's in good condition, the squeegee is clean, but that didn't change the problem.
The "fabric" roll is also in good condition.

      Merci,

Those three streaks are the ID sensor patches. There is no way they should still be on the ITB during a print unless the cleaning unit is not functioning correctly. Make certain that you are using a Genuine Ricoh part and not an after market one. Also make certain that it is for the C2050 and not for the C2051 as there is a difference.

I've had this copier for several years; the part is original and has never been replaced.
Do I need to replace this part?
Do you think cleaning it is not enough?

The ITB cleaning unit should be replaced ever 60K for a machine that is used within the targeted monthly usage of 8K to 50K. If under utilized then it needs to be replaced after one and a half to two years. The blade material will soften with age.

                  Replace the unit
Think of it like the wiper blades on your car.
They may still look good, but not clean worth a damn

Thank you all for your help. It's very helpful and your explanations are clear.
Can I replace just the blade, or is it better to replace the entire unit?
I'm having trouble finding a website that offers official RICOH products. Can you help me?

Good luck, very old machine. Ricoh Australia still had them 5 years ago.

                          Hello,
If I only print in black and white, once the transfer tape is clean, I no longer have any streaks. But only in black and white.
                          Could the problem be elsewhere?

                          Bonjour,

That is because color alignment, the diagonal lines of the ID patches, does not need to be done.
