Ricoh mp 7502 add toner indication

Hello everyone i have a strange problem with this model MP7502 the machine has 2,7 milion so far far i have replace development unit, developer X2 times TD sensor, toner hopper from another machine, i have done all the software updates the toner hopper is full of toner but the machine still has add toner indication, it works for a few copies and then again add toner, the machine uses original toner, the VT sensor is at 0,50 and overtoner, and vref at 2,50 but gives me add toner, and its driving me mad. right now i am not into replacing developer again until i get to the bottom of it.

when you say you swapped the hopper are you talking the hopper mounted on top of the dev unit or the toner bottle holder? most likely with everything you have done already i would lean towards the toner add clutch in the developer motor assembly is rusted/slipping therefore it is not turning the hopper ontop of the dev. you cant order the clutch separately it comes with the Developer Drive Motor Assy.

      - check the bottle toner chuck if effectively engage the toner cap, could be consumed
      - supply motor under the toner hopper that turn and not (what i think)
      - toner supply clutch unit behind the machine

After the developer was replaced did you run SP2801 to initialize the toner density control settings? And what about SP3001-001? Then there is SP2208. If it is set for pixel count all your sensor readings are mute.

Hello, if you have access to other PCBs, change the I / O, in previous models it used to fail and asked for toner all the time

yes the whole toner hopper on top of the dev unit, i was also thinking the dev motor but my main issue was that the machine has Vt at 0,40 and the toner hopper is full of toner but still asks for toner, but i will give it a try and let you know.

Is there toner in the front of the hopper, have you replaced the sensor at the front of the hopper, does the hopper drop toner when you turn the drive gear.

yes you can see the toner hopper has toner inside enough no need to ask for toner, i replace the whole toner hopper with the td sensor on it from another working machine

check the toner end sensor . disconnect the sensor and run the machine if the add toner indicator did not light up , replace the toner end sensor.

The ver / vref values indicate that it is overtoned, if it were the developer's engine, it would not provide toner, or it would be overtoned but it would not indicate you without toner
