    MP 5054SP UNFUSED COPIES

Since i replaced Fuser Sleeve Unit (Original, Ricoh part) machine throws some unfused, smudged, copies in
between sets, without jamming or coding.(No SC codes). It is offsetting too, sporadically..
After that i replaced Pressure Roller, to avoid some random wrinkles that appeared also, at single or duplex copying,
it doesn't matter, but i didn't notice any difference.
I saw the problem from customer copies, when i am trying to duplicate, nothing happens.
    Machine has only 420K. prints.
I thought it was a faulty part (the Fuser Sleeve), so i replaced it again with another one, nothing changed.
Part Number has been checked, it is for MP 5054.
    What am i missing???
Thanks a lot for any input..!!

Sounds like an original problem. Although your heat could be depleting in large runs. Check the type of paper the customer is using and make sure the unit is set to that type paper.
See if you can turn fuser heat up a bit. Although stay and watch a run where they are the only ones recreating the problem ti it acts up. Lastly substitute the fuser with another to see if it keeps doing it.
Always a possibility of a heater controll pcb. Although since you rebuilt the fuser I would guess there are other problems with the aged fuser. I have had a lot of other models with small splits in fuser gears that see hard to see. Just ideas as you wanted, GL!

Have you checked the condition of the Pressure Roller?
        - It may be that this one finds lost hardness or is in poor condition.
        - Generating an anomalous pressure and causing sporadic areas to receive neither the pressure nor the adequate heat.

Sounds like you are shot gunning parts.
I always do a full rebuild on the fuser.

              My apologies, my fault.
Is the Pressure Roller original? (You don't specify it)

I don't always do a full rebuild, no need. The first time it comes up with the message, I just replace the sleeve unit.
