      Not really, but there some customers that are difficult, when u advise them to go for OEM, they'll tell you no money that they want after market accessories, i just leave them to their fate.

        but then they will call you, the kind technician, to clean the machine of loose toner or poor print quality

                  You can google the quality of Fram filters. Internet says they are cheap and bad. For my Honda, I get the oem filters from the dealer. Only a couple bucks more, not outrageous.
                  I've proved mathematics wrong. 1 + 1 doesn't always equal 2.........

                    Obviously you did not watch those commercials or if you did you did not look at the dates. One was from 50 years ago. The ideas was and is that people who think they are saving money by buying after market supplies usually are not in the long run.

                      Agreed. Those commercials are from eons ago. Maybe the quality was there, but no longer the case. That's all I was saying. As you say though, the saying is true "Pay now or pay later"


                      Like everything else quality is decreasing everywhere.

                      Reminds me of a saying "Americans no longer want good, they want good and cheap"
