    MPC Toners vs. IMC Toners?

I have successfully put MPC2504 toners in an IMC2500 with no modifications. IMC toners won't go into an MPC2504 without modification. My question is can MPC6004 toners go into IMC6000 machines without modification and also the MPC3004 into IMC3000 also. The toners in the MPC family are the same mix numbers as the IMC series. We are having problems getting IMC toners from Ricoh because of backorders ( what's new ) and I have plenty of MPC toners on my shelf. Thanks.

Never tried, but I'd just keep the empties and swap the caps over.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

I think when the IMC series was introduced Ricoh "officially" told us that you can use the MPC toner for IMC (within the 3004/3000 range and 6004/6000, not shure about the low end A3) but not vice versa.

is your problem with them not going in all the way?
OR THE toner being seen by machine?
I had to mess around with the mpc3503 and mpc6003 series by using a dremel and blade to cut
        underside of toner cap..
You can also buy chips and swap them when needed..

I can insert toners mpc6003 into mpc3503, just by cutting the plastic on the cap?

Yes You can put the MPC3004 into a IMC3000 and the same up the series but due to a gate size issue on the side slots of the cartridge head you cannot fit and IMC into a MPC. And Gift is correct as the 1st Ricoh training video showed them installing MPC2503 toner i a IMC2500. Now they have messed with the chip data so it can be pot luck if the chip reads correctly.
