Older Model Ricoh Scanning

MP501 again. Scanning capability does not appear anywhere in the machine. Not in the classic applications, not in the Print/scan memory storage device, not in the home page of the sp's, and not in the media slot use screen. However, I am able to print from a usb without issue and the print from usb capability appears everywhere mentioned above. Just no scanning option showing at all anywhere. Firmware update didn't help. Any suggestions?

try with 5-895-001 to "1" (enable nic)
check also sp 5-985-002 stay on "0" (application invalidation)

both settings need reboot

Thanks for the response. That was it. Nic card was not enabled. Thanks so much
