Ricoh P501 duplex entrance sensor arm

    Hi All,

does anyone know of a quick way to get to the duplex entrance sensor arm on a Ricoh P501 (desktop mono printer).

I have one jamming everytime on duplex and I can identify that the duplex entry sensor arm is dislodged but can’t see an easy way to get to it without a full strip down.

anyone go any ideas or will I just have to bite the bullet?

    Thanks

From the manual it doesn't seem that complicated to me, if I'm not mistaken (sect.4.16 of the SM), more complicated instead if it were a MF

        Hi GiuBoss,

Are you able to provide the page number of the manual that shows this? Page 289 shows the sensor removal but no the actuator arm.

        Thanks

In section 4.16.3 (page 324) remove the fuser unit, you see it

Page 324 takes me to the PSU in the P501 UK manual

I can get to the sensor itself when removing the fuser but not the actuator arm, it appears buried under paper guides etc. its not located correctly causing a constant jam error.
