Hi everybody. Have ricoh mp c4504 with such problem - rippled image caused by ITB unit. SO have a question about it: what exactly is causing this issue inside the ITB unit? Atached the example with differnt ITB units tested on the same machine.

I noticed 2 things. 1st you have a blockage in your magenta developer leaving a void. 2nd the lighter ITB is probably due to dirty transfer rollers in the ITB and or a week or dirty contact in the ITB. Disassemble the ITB as if you were going to change the belt and clean the transfer rollers and contacts.Larhal

If all else fails read the Service Manual!
If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.👍 2 -

Then there is some weak contact within the ITB unit, I would scrap the old ITB unit and replace with a new one or known good one.
What is the maintenance count on the defective ITB unit?
It is probably very difficult to get new parts where you are at.Larhal

exactly, they are the two white hooks that you see in this video below (I haven't found anything better)... a month ago a MC arrived with broken ones, and it reproduced the same effect as the photos you attached
I use ITB from neighboring machine, and it's print fine. Problem is ITB unit

Anyway, I'm sure it's a transfer problem, I didn't quite understand, have you tried a complete ITB unit from another machine and does it work fine?....if not, also try checking the clips/contacts inside the machine, there could be something bent, and also the power pack behind the PSU, it could rarely have problems, even if it's a bit of a tedious job to disassemble it"I'll be back"Comment
