    Overwritten Temporary Firmware:
    LRC1385, LR0011, LRC1357, LRC1326, LR0003, LRC2001, LRC2007,
    LRC2013, LRC2036, LRC2051, LRC1384, LRC2149
*This package firmware can overwrite the above temporary firmware.
For more information, please refer to the technical bulletin
    regarding temporary Firmware overwrite function.

According to what I get from Ricoh website above, v4.60.1 do have noted firmware overwrite. But LR999999 for my finisher, is not included. So I wonder if 5595Q really fit my machine?

But, first, how to confirm 5595Q fit my machine, won't make it brick?
Second, how to get this pack, except RFUT? I think this is the only way for end users to get firmware pack. Could you please give me a download link?
You get it directly from your Ricoh Regional Support. It might require a special written request. If you are not with an authorized Ricoh dealer, you will need to have one do it for you.

Errrr, that's why I complain about this.
My dealer has much more knowledge about charging, asking for cash, shirking responsibility, rather than giving any useful info and support. The only thing they've ever done, is wrote things down, and seriously promised me they would call Ricoh engineers for help. But answers will always be Ricoh knows nothing about what's the reason and what to do.

Even Ricoh China Service Hotline, just answer "Nothing to worry about if no error code pop" "Update firmware yourself is not suggested" "Call your dealer for support".... No one would really help solve this after I pay the bill.

That's why I post here and ask for your help.

        Whatever, thank you.
Maybe I should suggest the boss, we need a real local service provider, not just a salesman.

At this point it sounds like you might need a good lawyer as well.

I have D0BN5559C.pkg Package_4.60.1 at hand - P/N is different, not shure if that's a market region thing?

Thank you for this important info. I know nothing about Ricoh's F/W naming rule.
By now, the only pkg runs well, as I know, is D0BN5596K.pkg (4.59).

What if I try to flash a pkg from different region? Will it brick?

AH-HA. Sorry for disturbing your great weekend.

After dig into the Internet, I find the Technical Bulletin for IMC6000, which makes everything clear.

In section No.RD0BL026, it explains what the E86 error means (caused by temporary or customized firmware), and how to solve.
PROCEDURE is not complicated, but D0BN5595x pkg (x may mean the version of the pkg) is necessity.

D0BN5595x is a special pkg (Ricoh call its type "package_01"), used to overwrite a temporary or customized firmware.
While D0BN5559C (the one you pm me. Do notice 59 here and 95 above) is a normal pkg (Ricoh call its type "package(ALL)"), used to upgrade copiers to v4.60.1.

With x=Q, D0BN5595Q, which slimslob luca72 sandmanmac mentioned , I guess, maybe contains latest F/W(v4.60.1), the same as D0BN5559C.
But without D0BN5595Q, it's impossible to bring the finisher F/W back, or upgrade to v4.60.1. E86 will always pop out during update.

So, have to find a D0BN5595x first.

                        -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PLUS. After read the Technical Bulletin, I guess, maybe Ricoh China forget to translate it to Chinese, or forget to put the D0BN5595x pkg for China market online. So, my dealer kept evading solving this.

Just want to share what I found to whom need it.

Sorry if I waste you too much time to read. Thank you again, Gift. You give me the courage to find it out.
