    SR-3230 sponge rollers

    Lazy question...

Anyone got an easier way to replace the sponge gathering rollers for the output shift tray? I always damage the foam on these and didn't know if y'all had any tricks.

I use SP6-160-004 to drop the output tray and a spring hook / small screwdriver to remove the clip.

Or, you can remove the output tray and the metal plate it sits on; to give you easier access.

I would advise you to put a sheet of paper in the slot, so as not to drop clips, screws, or various parts inside, this will save you wasting time.
make a sachet in your tool bag with a suite of all clip sizes inside, salvaged from scrapped machines, wouldn't you want to block the job for a stupid clip or special screw rolled under some furniture? ... LOL
