If you have another machine to 'borrow' boards from try the the BICU and power supply.

I KNOW this sounds like a stoopid question but check that the nvram is facing the right way.
Make sure that the "D" impression in the eprom matches the impression on the board...it fits BOTH ways but only works ONE way.

I think he wrote that the parts don't work on another, new IMC with the same symptome.

What happens with the original NV Ram? Same problem?

Did you order the corrent part number? Ricoh Manuals can be a bit confusing sometimes - in the past you got a SC though, I managed that myself thanks to using an outdated parts manual LOL
And yes, the NV Ram fits in both ways but you should look for the markings to choose the proper way - guess we all learned that at some point, too

Not shure if that's valid anymore but did you compare/adjust the Dip SW?

Does this board use onboard RAM or a module? In case there's a module you should cross-check that, too.

That sounds like the ops panel main board.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                  Hit it.
