Machine is displaying replace fuser unit. Does it have a hard stop at some point or will it continue to run ? I see the fixing film assembly is available, does it typically come with the reset fuse ?
Thanks,
Dave

There's a hard stop some thousand pages after the message. You can clear the PM counter and maybe squeeze out more pages - you need that fuse to clear certain fuser SC codes but not for regular pm reset.

yes, as Gift says, it quietly resets the SP of the PM, I always do it too, the unit lasts much longer than stated, as regards the prints ... the message is displayed at 415k, and at 430k the machine stops, so the customer has an autonomy of 15k prints, after the replacement warning message.
I seem to remember that at 240K it gives the pm warning and at 400K it gives an sc code that must be reset with a pico fuse.
For the C2003/ 2503 the PM warning is 240K. Hard stop at 248K (unless the Counters are reset obviously) is the way I understand it.
I can't speak to how much beyond the PM cycle they may work reliably. I only sell and work on the C3003 and up in that line, which have much higher PM's which I think is the info that Luca has provided, although my Italian is a little rusty
