Ricoh MP7500, 8000, 8001, 7502, 7001, 6001, light copies after change transfer belt

HI these riocoh Martini modal , i have 2 uni MP 8000 & MP7502 , both i have same problem which is after i change NEW original Ricoh Transfer belt, then the printout become light BUT when i revert back to the ols transfer belt the printour is fine


anyone have same issue ??


P/s : i have try wil 3 ricoh new transfer belt none are working.

the problem is when i use the old belt its fine, then change to new belt become blur ..., i though is there any setting for transfer belt ??

I have faced this issue.
I figured out that the problem is primarily with storage of the transfer belt but that was a while back.
I believe it had lost some of its default charge characteristics with the long storage.
However, it may come back to life if you hook it in the machine for another 4-5 days (if you can) and wait...

I would have stopped at the first new transfer belt, if original.

As satins sad, it can be in issue with long storage. If you have an old transfer unit, you can try installing your new transfer belt in it and leave for some days to let the tension release. Afterwards install the stretched transfer belt in your machine.

Is the contact on the transfer unit good?
I remember there was an old bulletin on the Aficio650, right on the copper contact.

what code does the belt have? could it be that you have mounted that of the 6503? the manufacturer has recently been changed.
was there a sheet in the box with the values to be corrected? ... try these, at most you put them back as they were before....give a try

I am wondering why you replaced just the transfer belt? If it was because of light copies, the problem most likely was not the belt. The majority of the time when I have had light copies and prints with any martini it has been a dirty ID sensor caused by toner haze buildup. For the martini the value of SP 3001-001 should be in the range of 1 to 70 depending upon the specific model. Anything above that and you either have a dirty or bad sensor.
