Photoconductor unit not set correctly ricoh mpc3003

    Hi All,
I am currently battling a Ricoh mpc3003 whose welcome not is Photoconductor Unit not Set for Cyan, Black and Yellow. I tried putting another unit from 6003 same thing. What could be the cause. Your contributions are highly appreciated.

I would like to know if the groups are original, the toners? Try to pull them, clean the chip contacts. Check that all doors are closed correctly

I've found solution, I had to unplug the the developer unit cable of all the Units and remove them, open side paper transfer section and front cover for 3hrs. Inserted units back and power on machine and it was back to normal

            Exactly, could be contact malfunctions.

More that likely the 3 hour wait was not needed.

I decided to wait 3hrs cos I've tried different Photoconductor units, still the unit not set correctly.. So I unplugged all cables and all doors

agree! 2.30 hours should be enough

Really?? Then what was needed to do??? Does it mean a machine error was detected??.

                      Try the following:
                      1. Use the control panel power to turn the C3003 off
                      2. Unplug the power cord
                      3. Press and hold the control panel power button until the power LED flashes, normally about 10 seconds.
