    I would look for a misalignment between the Doc Feeder and the slit glass.

        It appears to be the left adf hinge causing the feeder to not sit properly.
        Removed hinge for testing and pages feed through fine.
        Looks like pn D3DJ1820
        Now to try and find one

          The hinge is screwed into plastic, the plastic strips. There is a mod bracket to fix the problem.

          I've had the same problem with the IM 350F/IM 430F, same bracket fixes those too.

            Yes 1 of the 2 screws was stripped when I took it out.

              I have had to replace the entire ADF. Not difficult just takes some time. I've seen the ADF base crack and the only way to fix it was to replace it. I have seen this happen on older Kyocera 2560,3060, 300i and the Konica DF 701

                  I've had this same problem with the screws stripping. The plate kit to fix this is crazy expensive, so I McGuivered a fix.

                  * Drill out existing screw holes (slowly) with a 3/16' hole (bit).
                  * Find a good hardware ( Ace) for the following: 2 ea. 6/32 x 1/2" screw and 2 ea. 6/32 Brad
                  ** See attached photos.

                  I used a good glue to insert and hold the Brads from the bottom side, and the screws thread right in. Perfect repair !!

                    almost certainly one, or both of the screws of the hinge, under the cover of the rdf, has stripped, try to use a slightly larger screw, if they are only unscrewed, put in the hole a bit of cyanoacrylate, and screw them again
