At least with @Remote a tech had to schedule firmware update through the Update portion of SP mode. In my opinion, if I had to go to a customer to schedule an update, I might as well take the latest firmware with me and do the update.

I do updates with @remote constantly, almost every day. I usually set it to update overnight, no problems, very reliable.

Try downloading the pkg file from TSRC, then FTPing it directly to the machine.

          From a command prompt:

          1. Type “FTP <ip address>“

          2. Type “admin”, then the WIM password, if there is one

          3. Type “binary”

          4. Type “put <filepath to pkg file>\package name.pkg”

I don’t even trust some of the package files on TSRC. Just this week, I found that the pkg for the MP C3003 was corrupt. I opened it with 7-Zip, and found that one of the firmware files in it (I did not note which one) was an .fwu file, instead of being an .rfu, as it should be. Grrrrrrrrr.
          Allelujah!!
I got MPC2003 stuck, this method works.

          Great Thanks.
          Roman.
