    Aficio MP4001

Don't know Ricoh that well. Going to be replacing the web roller on this MP4001. Do I need to reset the counter to get rid of message on the display? If so what # is it in the SP mode?

    Thanks in advance

sp 1-902 = % of web used, put to "0" and press "#" to clear web consumption status

Depending on the firmware version it may requiring doing both at the same time as well as SP 7806-008. First time I did one I had to call tech support. He told me it was a problem that had just been brought to their attention. He said there was a new bulletin which we got that day after I left on calls and told me the corrected procedure.

Slimslob is right. You may need to do both. Make a note of both the reset codes.

I learnt this 1 the hard way.
