    [Jamming] Ricoh Aficio spc811dn

Customer said bypass was pulling multiple sheets through. I did not witness it because printer was off and had to clear a piece of plastic out customer dropped into copier. I replaced the upper and separation of pf pulleys. Upon testing noticed lead-in pulley stays in down position??? When bypass pulleys start they turned in reverse kicking all paper backwards??? I removed separation of pulley and after lifting leadin pf pulley paper can be fed through but only one sheet at a time. Are there two separate problems with the bypass as to why lead-in pf pulley stays in down position and why with separation pulley in place pf pulleys rotate in reverse??? Thanks!!!

Check the magnet that drives the take-off roller if it comes back to rest, you may have the torque limiter that is damaged (rarely), replace the 3 rubber rollers, also check the back of the duplex. 1.Open the right door.
    2. Right door rear cover to access the magnetic clutch and one-way gear (to be cleaned and lubricated with a little silicone grease).

If either the one way bearing in the bypass feed roller is slipping, the bypass feed roller is the wrong roller or the gear driving the feed roller is missing/broken the reverse roller WILL drive the feed roller backwards. The pickup roller (lead-in pulley) is driven by the feed roller and will also rotate in reverse. Are you sure you put the correct feed roller in the bypass tray? It is not the same as the ones in the paper trays. The one way bearing for the bypass rotates in the opposite direction. The roller for the paper trays WILL cause the problem you are having. The correct number is AF03 1046 Feed Roller - Manual Feed and the plastic core should be a different color than the ones for the trays, yellow or blue.
