Have you performed the previous change/replace steps so that the machine can operate with the new HDD?

If you are an authorized technician, you will have the corresponding manuals to solve this incident. Otherwise, contact one.

The 2 HDD on a MP 9000 must be a matched set and replace as such. Both replacement drives must be "NEW' and completely not formatted in any way at all. If either of the drives has been written to by any other system, the 9000 will not recognized and format them.

            Hello

Try to swap the HDD's, worked for me sometimes, i experienced that you have to change both discs as a set, happened to me a few years ago, they have to be exact the same
