Hi, All. This is going to be a little obscure, sorry. I have a C6004 that makes a groaning (I think) noise only in the morning when the machine comes out of sleep mode. I have not heard it, but the secretary made a shitty, barely audible recording of the noise, and if I heard it right, it sounds a little like the noise you get when feeding thick paper through a bypass tray. They are not doing that, but it kinda sounded like that. Has anyone experienced morning groaning noises with this model? I have already ran all motors in output mode with no abnormal sounds. Print quality is excellent, and the machine functions fine when I run it, of course
. I absolutely hate intermittent sound issues. They are hard to troubleshoot, and I am sure she is going to drive me nuts until this one is resolved. So, I thought I would run this by the techies before I start swapping out assemblies. Thanks. Oh, and it is not the fuser pressure release motor or toner motors topping off the dev units. I am familiar with those sounds.
