Ricoh MP C300 Color print vs. copy of same

I have a customer (a church) that has a MP C300. When they do their bulletins the original which they print from their Mac computer and use as an original does not match a copy of the same. Its not even close. Purples look blue, yellows seem overpowering, etc. Its not like you might expect like a copy being slightly off, but rather unacceptable different. All PCDUs were at 60k. I replaces them all with new Ricoh PCU and Dev. units. It made no difference. Also I have done ACC and line adjustment numerous times. Any ideas? Thanks. Also of note, on the bulletins there are photos that need to be of a good quality.

I don't know if a Mac supports print to document server but if it does, have them try using it.

I don't know about Mac either. But just to let you know what I am up against. She is using a Mac laptop, a Word document and she can't figure out how to print a 2 sided document from Word. But that is all another matter. LOL.

If it is an older version on Word, it can't. They used to force you to buy Publisher in order to do two sided and booklets. If they can convert to a pdf it might be able to duplex.

You're never going to get a copy to look as good as a print so you should likely focus on finding a way for them to print the job instead of copy.

What version of Office are they using?

Did you clean the slit glasses and the optics before running ACC?

check the driver settings and if it's set to Vector change it to Raster... or vice versa...if it's set to Raster change it to Vector

Does the copy of a familar test chart do also look bad or worse compared to other IMC300's?

I know that some printed/rastered stuff can look bad if you copy it band I never understood why certain kinds are too dumb to realize it's better just to print what they need in the required quantity. If the reason is a limited acces to a computer they could use the document server so other users would still be able to get their "copies" on demand but they will have in "master quality".

Thank you all for your inputs. This customer is an hour away in the mountains of colorful colorado. I have been working on the problem in the shop using one of my own C 300s. I have been closing in on getting the copy and the print to match. As noted previously I don't expect to ever get the print to match copy or vice versa. I will continue on with the help of your suggestions and return to the customer when fairly confident of the adjustments to make. At least it is a nice drive.

Remember, there is always the option to manually duplex.
