    Mp c3003 tray 3 dont work, and make strong noise

    Hi guys, tomorrow i go to view an mpc3003 that says the customer, that cassette 3 dont work, and generate a strong noise like TAK-TAK-TAK-TAK.

    Do you have a idea?.. i take with me a pick up station, lifter motor, and some cassette switch.
    The paper shoul be load correct, the customer know the paper load problem, have this mc from 3 years
    Its very hot here, the client its far, and i want go to he, only One time.

    P.S. IM SORRY FOR DOUBLE THREAD, BUT I DONT KNOW HOW THIS HAPPEN.

      Companion, a question Is the 3rd paper tray of great capacity with horizontal paper exchange?
      It could be that they have put the role wrong that the transport system is not returning to the point of origin.


      Do you know what I mean?, like the 1st drawer of the MP 7500-9002, and that they put the paper wrong on the left side. Breaking the pinion of the transport shovels.

          It's possible that the paper end actuator is bent (or some other actuator/sensor issue that prevent to detect the proper end position for the paper-lift mechanism). If you can, print the entire feed unit from a parts donator.

              [SOLVED] hi friends, as usual when a report passes too many hands, it ends up completely changing the meaning.
              practically, once I arrived at the customer, in 5 seconds I had already understood everything, the problem was the stupid fuser gears, replaced.
              on the other hand, for the tray that does not work,(its tray 1 and not 3!) the customer said that he did it only once, I cleaned the sensors with air, and I inserted a plastic shim behind the tray 1 to improve its triggering.

                  Yes, I know what you are talking about, when the breakdown report comes from a central department or external technical service, transferring the incident and is not the direct user who uses the device.

                      Yeah if the problem appears somewhat tricky or unclear = always try and ask for the credentials of the original user who initiated the call. Currently I sit on the phone most of the day so I got to know my patients better over time....

                          I've had the lift motor making noises tray 3 will be the pedal stall swap with tray 4 motor

                              Its happens also to me, he generate a noise like a "fart" when lift the paper tray plate, the intensity of noise change in base at damage level of the single motor unit
