    Mp 9002 has stopped sending mails with office 365 since 08/18/200 (?)

    Hello everyone, tomorrow morning I have to try to update the firmware of this mp9002, since August 18th, it has stopped sending emails with office 365 by itself, do you have any ideas? I am not a great lover of office365 and mail, below I place the error from the system registry and the firmware versions

    NOTE: Two meters away, they also have an MPC3004, with the exact same configuration, and it works correctly

      If you can't get MS 365 working, change the smtp server set up to Gmail with 2 factor authentication or use smtp2go.
      Make sure their MS 365 account is valid

      ( our ISP initially provided MS 365 at no charge with a sign up, they just required everyone to now pay for their account. We have never used it, thankfully. Lesson:Nothing is free)

          The customer use a SMTP called "turbomail"...but the machine has stopped to work from It self

              You'll need to check and see if SMTP Auth is enabled on the sending account. In some newer tenants, Microsoft has been disabling the option if it is not regularly in use.

              Anyone with Exchange admin rights can enable the feature and Microsoft has very clear documentation for enabling the feature.

                  This customer, make a intensive use of scan to mail, at part this past week that most user are in vacancy... anyway the customer says that the MPC 3004 near at the 9002 , the scan to mail work well

                      Then someone has changed something on the 9002 in the network settings or something in the 9002 NVRam has gotten corrupted. "failed to connect smtp server. timeout." is usually a network connection error. Try clearing Scanner, Web Service/Network application and NCS, SP5802-009 through 011 then reenter all network and scanner settings.

                          After updating ALL the firmware check you have TLS 1.2 enabled this is usually the root cause.

                              [SOLVED] Hello everyone, the other morning I visited the customer, and after various tests, and comparing the configuration of the mp9002, with that of the mpc3004, I realized that some "genius" had put the wrong gateway, (the last number), in fact the mc reached its internal dns of the network, but the external one (8.8.8.8) and the smtp one, was unreachable, however I updated the firmware, to the latest system copy version 1.17, and as you dived in another thead the machine now goes ready quickly (see video).

                                  Thanks for that info - another thing I've seen is that MS deactivates the SMTP capability for mail accounts so they won't work beyond the MS universe.
                                  Fortunately the admin can enable SMTP in the O365 admin panel again.

                                      I will inquire about this, we have a microsoft certified specialist, who cooperates with our company, and follows us for server issues and more, I will try to ask him when I see him
