    You can indeed.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

So I think the only thing I will need to do is 2801 and turn off 2804 is that correct. If I'm missing anything let me know.

      Thank you so much

Actually SP 2804 New PCU check needs to be turned ON and SP 2801 does not to be ran. When SP 2804 detects a New PCU it will automatically run developer initialization and clear the PM counters.

Yep. 1027 PCU works just fine. You may need to clip of the 1 plastic pin to get it to slide all the way in.

If it's a brand new PCU then what Slimslob said is 100% correct. Just slide the unit in and the machine will take care of the rest. Best to make sure the machine is fully on and done with the start up cycle when doing so.

If it's a good 2nd hand unit then you can run SP2801 developer initialization.

          All the best friend.

Actually that would be the older Type 320 PCU for the Aficio 220/270.

you can do only sp2801 and leave everything else as is, even if it repeats the developer's initiation several times, nothing new happens, rather the transfer roller also changes together, which can create dots on the print, like a rain effect
