Re: ARDF DF3010 B802.01
I am not sure what manual you are looking at but the DF3010 does not have a reverse motor. The first item to check for either is a home position sensor, Stopper for SC 700 and Pick-up Roller for SC 701. Both are mounted on the same bracket. The bracket is held in place by one screw and possibly a positioning tab. The screw could loose. If you take the back cover off you should see the bracket and sensors.
Did this start happening immediately after the pickup, feed and reverse rollers were replaced? Not getting the feed shoe reassembled correctly will cause the problem. Something I have had junior techs do numerous times.Comment

Re: ARDF DF3010 B802.01
other than misfeeds this is the first problem I've encountered with this document feeder. My bad on motor. it says the pick up motor turns on clockwise, the original stopper HP sensor does not detect home position of the original stopper. possible causes defective original stopper HP sensor, defective pick motor, defective DF drive board for SC700. SC701 pick up roller HP error with same info??? SC700 is original stopper error.
