I'm using the D2424041 sleeve and the AE020268 pressure roller. It's about a $15-20 US cost savings over the whole unit. If I were using a different sleeve than replacing the whole unit would be cheaper.

Agreed, but the company I work for sees labor and parts as two separate budgets. Therefore technicians are tasked with keeping parts costs down.

Depends on how long it takes you and whether there are and charge jobs waiting to be done. Also how busy you are that day. If all the calls are getting done, many owners only look at the parts cost.

With the company I worked for 99.9% of our customers were under contract. Keeping parts costs down was extremely important.

Parts costs aside, there are some benefits to carrying individual parts. 1.) Boxes are smaller taking up less room in a vehicle. 2.) Fuser issues can be fixed on both the MPCxxxx and IMCxxxx since the parts are interchangeable. 3.) There is a chance you might only require one of the parts to fix a specific issue.

Good to know the MPC & IMC fuser sleeves are interchangeable.
