Ricoh mp c2003 fuser unit does it work in the ricoh mp c3003 ?

Different part number at least, not sure if there is a way to modify it to fit.

2003= D1764014
3003= D1464062

That's 220V EU-fusers that is.

Noticed that the whole fuser assembly was near twice as expensive for the 2003 compared to the 3003 which i find very weird

under correction but I think the 3003 will work in a 2003 but not the other way round. 3003 has higher wattage lamps so the 2003 fuser throws warm up errors if used in 3003

Different sleeve. Probably lower wattage lamps in the 2003.

The fuser sleeve and fuser lamps are the same in MPC2003 and MPC3003. Only in MPC4503 fuser lamps are with higher wattage.
You can use the whole fusing unit from MPC2003 to MPC3003 with just swapping the lower covers of the units.

Are you shure? P/N for sleeve assy are different, too - wattage "could be" the same tough. I can't quickly find that info in service manual or 3D parts guide.

I seem to remember the rear connector being in a slightly different location not allowing it to fit.

they are the same..i have done it
only have to remove the plastic housing that sits against the main connector..
like stated the mpc4503 has bigger/multiple heater lamps..

Mpc2003/2503/3003/3503 can work for eachother, same lamp 527w, all u need to do is to just change the down case of the fuser unit if it doesn't fit in on eachother.
