change message body text (not subject) when scan to email

You can change this text: "This E-mail was sent by "RNP002673C2C979" (MP 3054)." when do you send a scan via email?

You'll find the users guides here:
    MP 2554/3054/3554/4054/5054/6054 series download page

I see a simple way to change the subject line, but not a simple way to change the message line ... perhaps in the web interface?

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It has been years since I have done it. It used to be somewhere in either User Tools, WIM or SP. It changes it for all emails sent.

Do you want to change the name of the device from RNPblablablabla to MP3054?

I think that's just the Hostname in network settings.

I found this and it doesn't explain how to change the body Contents of Auto e-mail notification

Gift gave you the proper solution. Change the Hostname
Also to change the subject line, go to configuration /scanner / send settings

Thea is because Auto e-mail Notification is something that is configured in WIM to send an e-mail when there is a problem that requires the attention of a key operator or service tech. You can set 3 destinations with different problems for each. Things like service codes, jams and toner low to the service tech and and jams and supplies needing to be replaced to key operators. It was often used by service departments before @remote.

Or to XYZ Company Scanner. Where XYZ is the customer's actual name.

I change the host name on all my devices that will show as the subject line in your sent emails & also looks profesional to have the company name displayed.

You asked how to change the name, I gave you the only way I know of which works.
You're asking to also get rid of this E-mail sent by...... part which may or may not be possible, and who he hell cares!!

Now.....are you going to yell at Copier Tech too, because he just suggested the exact same thing as Gift and I.

I put one, not three! in Italy it is a simple exclamation. In any case, everyone is free to interpret as they see fit.
