Ricoh MP C transport gate issues

As always, i have the gate issue on the transports for the ricoh Color Machines, this transport gate cilinoid is garbage.. my solution is to block the gate closed so the paper streams out to the finisher,, but how do i make the page counter by pass coming out into the cavity, causing the jam due to my blocking the gate ? service mode? i cruised through it, but couldnt really find where to re direct the internal prints to the fin upper tray

First thing to check is if there is a rubber washer on the solenoid plunger or a rubber stopper pad for the home position of the gate. They are thee to prevent clicking noises but with age they becomes sticky. When the gate sets against the home position pad overnight, it becomes stuck.
