Zero Network connectivity ( IM C4500)

    Hey all..
    Got a weird one.
Received 4 x IMC4500 for a Govt Dept that were run up by Ricoh and sent to us for install.
2 of them worked fine...no issues at all.
The other 2 straight out of the box had no network connectivity.... no lights at all on the Controller Network port.
I wound up having to use SP- 5-801-008 Printer Application clear and SP-5-801-011 NCS clear and they both came good.
After testing we went onsite a couple of days later to install them and sure enough they both did the same thing onsite.
    Using the SP clears worked...again.
Ricoh Systechs were then able to roll out the PCC config and all was good....printing and scan to me working normally.
3 days later the customer logs a call stating that both machines had done it again but that after a power cycle only one machine is down.
Tried the memory clears but no go.
MY theory is that 2 machines were run up by the run up center using one Device Setting file and the dodgy 2 were run up using a different Device setting file and that there's a setting needing to be changed.
Bearing in mind that I can ONLY access SP mode and not any System Settings due to Ricoh not supplying us Admin credentials.
I've ordered a Controller PCB for the machine that's down....oh and yes...802.1x is set to inactive
    Any ideas?

Check the SC log, transport sometimes causes problems. Try to turn off Automatic Updating for the Application Site service, I've read that it can inhibit the machine and not start it. Have you updated to the latest FW?

i would say if you can't access what you need because of ricoh. then make ricoh fix the issue, or give you the admin login.

Do you have access to the Ricoh run up guide for that customer?

It's a fight to get the Govt Dept admin credentials but I have mentioned it to support.

We recently had an IM C3000 that the print and scan features were missing from user tools and there was no network lights apart from a few flashes of green as it booted.
It turned out it was the PS SD card once that was removed networking and everything else returned to normal.
