MPC406 brand new fuser Set Fuser Unit Correctly

Got brand new fuser for this and had set fuser correctly message, figured it was defective and sent it back for a replacement. New replacement just came in and same message. If I put the old fuser in, no message.

Thanks! I think you may be onto something. Precision Roller showed that number working for both the c306 and c406, but it appears they are different. Appreciate the quick response.

I am wondering what the difference between the D196 4001(Latest revision on Precision Roller is D196 4031) and the D196 4034 actually is other than that the 4034 is more expensive. Both show as being for NA (North America), the 1034 is an alternate number for the D850 4011 on the other side of the page. Could one be for the C406 and the other for the C406Z?

You can make this work quite simply. There is a small jumper plug on the connector block. Swap this over from the old fuser to your new one.

Had to do this a few times when my techs order the wrong fuser.
