Your're right.... It was later on my "swap list"... Thats because the problem occurs at 70% from the exposure glass...i'll try the CIS if the problem occurs again. Thank you!

Had some weird issues with ADF wiring in older machines... But its a good idea to try wiring and CIS if the probkem occurs again

There are two machines in that room, every machine has its own outlet... I have customers that plugged together 3 machines on the same wall outlet.. No good!. But in this case i'm sure that every machine has its own wall outlet

There is still a high probability that they are on the same circuit.

Fortunately we have a working machine to swap parts.
I know of someone who solved it by changing the SIO board, have you tried?

Yes... Together with the bicu Board

yes Java is installed, i tried first to update Java, and then to disable it.But still no luck

It's the best solution sometimes, i've learned that it's better to test the machine at home that make the customer angry because of all the tests. But in this case it's not possible. At the moment the machine is in test after i cleaned up the control panel and changed SIO Board and BICU

I know you mentioned that an MP 6001 has no problems, but not all models are created equal. There are differences between their power supplies.

I had a very similar issue a few years ago where the 01 machines were happy, but the MP 6002s we put in were not. They generated frequent SC230 codes.

There was a factory across the street that played tricks with the line voltage.(It was in a rural area with very poor regulation.)
Sometimes the old boxes works better, as the MP 2000 , no problems.....but MP2501.....crap machine.

At he moment the machine is in test after i swapped SIO and BICU from a working machine. Its the first time i had this kind of problem with a MP 7502. We have customers that runs three Canons , one Xerox and a MP6002 on the same line without any problem. Crazy

                      Try changing the :
                      Controller
                      BICU
                      DBR board

Also check your developer unit and transfer belt unit and drum unit. Clean and service these well. I've found that if they are not fully serviced and cleaned they can arc and cause issues. Take a blower and blower your transfer belt unit out.

Also check your electrical distribution box in the building. There's a possibility that the breakers might be too low for the electrical consumption at times (when the client is running the machine and other equipment) . Which could lead to your problem. Ive had this in the past.

An AVR would be great to try on the machine. Might stabilise the power fluctuation. 1 for that machine is about $200

                      All the best friend

i had a SC 240 on this machine last year after cleanind Drum Unit, so this was my first thought .i checked the drum ground but it's ok.In my case the problem occurs only in Copy or Scan mode, In Print mode the machine works for weeks without any problem .

Try to change strategy, try swap from another machine, the whole scanner unit block, with complete op panel, laser box, and all, its fast enough..(some plastic panels, some screws and plugs)..Thus, it will be easier to locate the problem, if the problem still does, at this point, you focus on the basic printer and various board.

                          UPDATE

since i've cleaned well the control panel and changed BICU board....no more problems till now...
The BICU board works now in another machine (installed 4 days ago), now i'm waiting for a call from this new customer, hope it never comes.

Thank you all for your suggestions, if the problem occurs in the other machine, i'll inform you!!
