Clean the ID sensors and perform color calibration again.

What gives with the crappy "what'sapp" images? You had a full page full color scanner right there in front of you. And are those actually prints from a computer or are they copies of a newspaper, magazine or book?

Re: ricoh mpc5503 - problem in color printing

Production of the MP C5503 was discontinued when the MP CXX04 line was released. That was 7 years ago. So the MP C5503 is not new. If it does only have 39,000 on it then it has been highly under utilized. The MP C5503 was designed to deliver an average monthly volume of 12,000. 39,000 would be just over 3 months of average usage. That being the case the PCDUs have all died of old age. If you want to optimize image quality, replace all 4 PCDU and do a full PM on the rest of the machine. Oh and do not use anything that is not Genuine Ricoh.

That takes care of the engine. Now as for the print driver. Do not use any type of Driver for Universal Print or Microsoft V4 driver. A quick test is to print to the C5503 with the C2050 driver. That rules out any difference caused by the driver.

All images look like crap to me so let's start the funny guesswork: With the proper PCL6 driver you can adjust everything to your liking in advanced settings if the internal test page from printer SP does not show any errors after calibration.
