Re: Ricoh mp c5503 , problema di stampa.
My client has Ricoh MP C5503 in a small fast print shop. Color copies look good, but .pdf files with photos don't look as good as the originals. Since these are first generation "prints" and not copies, they should look the same as the scanned digital file, but are a little faded. However, if you place a photo or magazine picture on the document glass, the copies will look good.
The customer is using the latest Ricoh Windows 10 print drivers, but as this machine was sold as a "leased back" machine, it may not have the latest firmware. What could cause the photorealism of the prints to be lower than it should be and what possible solutions could you suggest?
If by "the latest Ricoh Windows 10 print drivers" you mean one of the "New!" drivers released in May of this year, they are using the wrong driver. Unless they are usng a software that requires either Universal Print or Microsoft V4, they should be using the PCL 6 driver v1.17.0.0, the PCL 5c driver v1.5.0.0 or the Postscript3 driver v1.5.0.0.
Also make sure that the toner saver option if present in the driver is yutned off and reset the printer function SP 5801-008 in case toner saver is already turned on in the C5503.
Onr more thing, run Auto Color Control in User Tools. Should also be done after any firmware update. -
Re: Ricoh mp c5503 , problema di stampa.
if it involves scanning, and then printing, I suggest you play a bit with the scan and pdf compression settings on the machine, I had similar problems from a customer a year ago, especially with ID photos and related watermarks, I don't remember exactly what I changed, but it was there in the various PDF compression settings and method of the scanner, for printing I recommend the same as the others have suggested."loneliness is an invention of the white man, when we are alone we talk to everything around us, we are never alone" (Ojibwa)Comment
