    Stray toner on envelopes

I'm getting stray specs on the non-imaging part of envelopes. It's random, like the toner is spraying and sticking to a random part of the paper. I have run letter-size documents with much more coverage and not seen this problem at all.

Ricoh IM C6000 with less than <100,000 clicks. Toner is not low. OEM. Drums, fuser rollers, and transfer belt have been cleaned. Any ideas what the issue could be?

If it might be a leak or problem with a drum, how can I determine which drum is the problem? It doesn't seem color dependent. Please see attachments.

Please take pictures at higher resolution or use the device's scanner as far as possible. In the photographs provided (at least I), I do not observe the problem described. Do I check the cleaning unit of the ITB?

What media mode are they running? They should be using thick 2 or 3, not envelope mode, it's not enough heat and too fast.

Probably just some dirt somewhere in the paper path - thick mediums do tend to touch and pull dirt along before the issue appear on normal paper. A dirty fuser entrance area is a common cause, also inspect the area between registration and fuser entrance. All in all I wouldn't recommend this machine for envelopes except this is only needed every now and then.

While cleaning the transfer belt make shure you clean the inner side of the frame part I've marked red here:

And check the area where the MUSIC sensors are sitting.
