lanier DD3334 doesnt make a new master, keeps printing and old one

Hi could you help me? when I try to make a new master it keeps printing and oldcopy we placed before, even when that page is not on the glass. every new master we make has that old copy. what could I do?
we removed the old master on the drum and it doesnt work.

Are you pressing the MASTER MAKING key or the PRINT key?

MASTER MAKING key Starts making a master. Master making cannot be performed during
printing. Clear the number of prints before master making.

PRINT key Starts printing. Master making is not performed. Printing cannot start
when the light of the START key is red (When confidential function is
set, when a master is not set on the drum, when error is displayed,
when the number of prints is not entered.)

Press the Stop/Clear button twice. First time stops the current operation, the second time clears the counter.

From the online operation manual, note previous job has to be stopped and the counter cleared before Auto Cycle can be turned on:

Using the default settings, you can process masters and make prints in a single operation. This is called "Auto Cycle".

Make sure the [Auto Cycle] key is lit.
If it is not lit, press the [Auto Cycle] key.


Place your original.

Make sure the [Master Making] mode select key is lit.
If it is not lit, press the [Master Making] mode select key.


Specify the necessary settings.

Enter the number of prints you want using the number keys.
Set a print quantity between 1 (minimum) and 9999 (maximum).


Press the [Start] key.



Printing starts automatically after the trial print.

Sorry for not replying before. So what happened was that, we couldnt figure out the error sooooo my mom called some technicians
and... it was a master stuck in the drum!
the thing is that said master was folded, and with a lot of ink, so it looked like it was part of the screen... we thought it was the screen!! thats the reason why we didn't remove it... we have removed the others ... but that one was so well camouflaged haha

it was the technician who realized "this screen looks odd" he removed it... we would have never guessed there was another master stuck there...
we thought it was the configuration or something.

I dont speak english, I hope it makes sense!

If you pull the drum unit all the way out and set in on a work bench you can use the release lever to open the master clamp. The portion under the clamp will not have ink on it.

haha yeah a classic it was such a simple thing yet.. it was driving us crazy!!
