[Misc] MPC307 Noise - Faint PCQ

    Hi Chaps,

Anyone ever had an MPC307/407 with a transfer belt unit making a noise and producing faint prints?

Transfer belt unit including cleaning unit have been replaced and fault persists.

    Any further recommendations?

Make sure the metal teeth on the PTR are not sticking out they tend to bend outwards over time. Push them back down/ in with a flatblade

It would be good to have sample prints, do you have the PM counter?

          Hi Chaps,

          MPC307 Transfer bias contact.jpg

Update on this one. On inspection, Transfer Bias contact spring was damaged and mis-shaped causing faint PCQ and obstructing transfer belt stopping it finding Home position. See photo.

I remember that it's a bit difficult to get it to go in on its own, and then there's that damned green drum lever that has to be held down, and it keeps coming back up.
