    Ricoh C305 SC 681 11

    Hi,


    Ricoh C305 gives error code SC-681-11 after 10 to 15 prints. For single print and less than 10 prints it works fine.


    What can be the possible cause?


    If the toner chip detection is faulty or getting short due to toner than this code should be there all the time. Machine works fine for some prints. Toner motor or TCR sensor could be the reason?

      start from a simple action, remove the top cover, and clean the internal mc conctact with air vacuum, and replace the toner cartridge
      reset the ribbon cable and/or connector on detection board, try another ITB unit, sometime can create a electric noise that disturb the detection board or other

          Replace the black toner chip, and firmw. update

              I second the cleaning portion. These machines can pretty easily get filled with toner inside the toner space.
