    sure as gold that the developer unit is gone, you can also replace just the magnet roller, but I strongly advise you to replace the complete unit, a similar thing happened to me a few months ago on an mp9002, replaced > solved, luckily we had a used one but with fewer prints, however it seems to last around 1000k-1500k prints max.
